When generating RSA keys, it is crucial to ensure that this process is performed locally and that the keys are solely stored locally. RSA Asymmetric Encryption operates with a pair of keys: the Public Key and the Private Key. The Public Key can be shared with anyone and is utilized for encrypting data and verifying signatures from the corresponding Private Key. On the other hand, the Private Key must be securely safeguarded as it is responsible for decrypting data encrypted with the Public Key and signing data.

When communicating with others, you will exchange Public Keys with your contacts to encrypt messages. Only the intended recipient possessing the corresponding Private Key can decrypt these encrypted messages.

It’s worth emphasizing that none of your personal information, including your RSA Keys and messages, will be uploaded to any external servers.
